Syed Suhail Khalid;217853: Pontotac, your brain has been broken by the storm that shares your name, and commits havoc in Florida every year.
Russia has never sold Iran any S300 systems.Otherwise,Iran wouldn’t have been pressuring Russia till now to sell those weapons to it.
You are wrong and right.
Russia DID sell the S-300 system to Iran, but I checked on the status after your post.
Rusia froze the sale on June 10 of this year. The contract has not been cancelled yet. So, you are not quite correct, Khalid. From a Russian News site, The Voice Of Russia.
The contract on the delivery of Russian S-300 air defense systems to Iran has not yet been cancelled, according to head of Rostechnologies, Sergei Chemezov, who said that âthe final decision on signing or dropping the contract must be the presidentâs decisionâ. Moscow and Tehran signed the agreement back in 2005, without declaring any terms.
A month ago, the United Nations Security Council passed a resolution imposing new sanctions against Iran and expanding the embargo on weapon supplies to the country, in particular Russian S-300 missiles.
Considerably more reliable than its American Patriot counterpart, the S-300 system is capable of tracking six targets simultaneously within a 120-kilometer range and guiding two rockets to each target.

BTW: What storm are you talking about? Pontotoc is a Chickasaw word. Pontotoc is usually translated “cattail prairie” or “land of hanging grapes." I use the meaning of Cattail Prairie.
Note that there are no As in Pontotoc. |
