Toronto to miss Rani, Priyanka this year
    Nashville Herald

    (IANS)

With no masala Bollywood movies on offer at the Toronto International Film Festival, this Canadian city will surely miss Indian stars like Rani Mukerji and Priyanka Chopra, who were a big hit last year.

'I was really thrilled to have Rani Mukerji here last year. She is someone whose films I have been watching for many years. She is so talented as an actor that she can do the most serious drama and the lightest comedy with the same ease,' Toronto film festival co-director Cameron Bailey told IANS.

He may also be missing Priyanka Chopra.

With a mischievous laugher, Bailey said: 'I think Priyanka Chopra is one of the hottest actresses on the planet now. I am a big fan of her as well.'

Priyanka had dazzled the Toronto audience as Ashutosh Gowariker's 'What's Your Rashee?' brought the curtains down on last year's Toronto International Film Festival. Rani's 'Dil Bole Hadippa' had also premiered at the event here last year.
